Giesecke & Devrient (G&D), a German based technology company has introduced a new Nano SIM Card (Micro-Sim Card) for Smartphones manufacturer companies. According to the company spokesman, the new Nano-Sim card is just two-thirds in size of the Micro-SIM. The company more said that the new Nano-SIM will modify manufacturers to produce such devices that are even thinner and smaller in size.

The new Nano-SIM card measures approximately 12x9mm (less than half an inch around), some 30 percent smaller than the Micro-SIM. The thickness of the card has also been reduced by about 15 percent, a huge amount considering how thin existing SIM cars already are.

Steve Jobs holds the mike to announce the new flagship of software suites for Mac and iDevices, Apple announced that to date, they have had more than 14 billion downloads, with over 90,000 iPad apps. They have paid developers more than $2.5 billion dollars so far.

Apple started off the new feature list with notifications. Apple has removed the old notification popup system for a more inline notification system, making it less annoying when you're watching a video or playing a game. The 'notification center' will act similar to Android, where your menu swipes down, revealing alerts for all of your phone, messages, emails and more. The notification center is even on your lock screen too.

The lock screen has received a major update, allowing for notifications from apps, messages, and even listening to voice mail without having to slide to unlock the phone.

iOS 5.0 also comes with 'Newsstand', a new subscription-based application that has a ton of newspaper and magazine companies on board, including New York Times, SF Chronicle, Daily Telegraph, and more.

iOS 5 Twitter support
Much rumored beforehand, Apple has introduced Twitter natively into iOS 5, with a 'one click' option for applications to let you use Twitter functionality.

All you'll need to do is sign in through the Settings menu and any app can request integration with your Twitter account, meaning no more constant signing in to every new application you download. It's also fully integrated with the Camera and Photo apps, for example.

You can also tweet articles from Safari and locations from Maps.

iOS 5 Safari

Best Bluetooth Keyboard for iPhone, iPad and Mobile Phones

Written By Lingkar Dunia on Sunday, March 6, 2011 | 3:03 AM

If you want to work faster in your iPhone, iPad and other Mobile Phones like you work on your Personal Computer, then you can use Bluetooth Keyboard for iPhone and iPad. I have searched many bluetooth keyboards for Mobile Phones and Touchscreen Devices especially for iPhone and iPad, and finally got my hands into most promising and best Bluetooth Keyboard for Mobile Phones, which i am going to review today in my blog.

Verbatim has made bluetooth keyboard specifically designed for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. Its Bluetooth capability also works with other mobile phones, but it really shines with Apple devices, with its full set of keyboard shortcuts that worked well with my iPhone. The keyboards typing action is like most laptop keyboards rather shallow, but still usable. Touch typists might not like the varied size of the keys, where, for example, the G key is slightly smaller, while on the other hand, the V key is larger. Its also strange to have two small space bars, but I got used to it quickly. Still, youll have to make slight compromises for this portability.

Looking at the keyboard, it reminds me of the old favorite Palm 3245WW folding Bluetooth keyboard that some people still like so much theyre willing to pay upwards of $200 for it. But this verbatim model goes one step further with a feature that differentiates it from all others: its transport controls let you tend to your music on iPod, iPad or iPhone.

Take a look at the Verbatim's Bluetooth Keyboard in action in the following video:

You can Buy Verbatim's Bluetooth Keyboard from Verbatim website for $104 price, For that price, its not worth it, but then I was relieved to find it for $53 on Amazon. For that, its a good deal, deserving of a place in your carry-on bag. So what are you waiting for Go and Buy one for your iPhone, iPad and other touchscreen devices.

Skype for iPhone Video Calling Feature Over 3G and Wi-Fi

Written By Lingkar Dunia on Thursday, December 30, 2010 | 11:31 AM

As we expected before, Skype for iPhone is turning out in 2011 with latest feature of video calling to its Skype App for iPhone. In Skype 3.0 version, you can place video calls from Skype on the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and 4th-Generation iPod touch, and you can also receive video calls on the iPad and the 3rd-Generation iPod touch. Video calling works over both Wi-Fi and 3G.

On iOS devices with two cameras, you can stream video from either. iPhone 3GS users, of course, can only stream video from that devices sole rear-facing camera.

You can use the Skype app to place calls to other folks using the app, or to folks using Skype on their computers. As it did before, the Skype app continues to offer instant messaging, text messaging, audio-only chats, and the ability to call landlines and mobile phones at low rates.

Apples FaceTime technology is currently limited to Wi-Fi calling only. One might wonder whether Skypes timing for adding video chat to its app might aim to make us forget about the company's recent extended outage, but that would require remembering said outage happened in the first place.

Skype for iPhone is free. Video calling requires iOS 4.0 or later, but the app can run on any device with at least iOS 3.0.

More iPad 2 Features and Rumors Leaked

Written By Lingkar Dunia on Saturday, December 25, 2010 | 1:23 AM

Before we have discussed about expected iPad 2 features which Apple going to be includes in its next iPad version. And now we are back with some more useful informations and rumors which are focusing more on new features, the rumors actually come from anonymous sources in China, and have technical details about Apples next-generation tab.

According to a report, the new iPad will be smaller and flatter, with better, improved speakers on board. That information comes by way of the Kanteidan Blog, out of Japan. It says the new iPads outer case will lose three millimeters from the length and width, which wont affect the 9.7-inch LCD screen. Reportedly, the iPad 2 will also be flatter on its back side, in some ways emulating the iPod Touch.

More important than the minor size changes are the iPad 2s rumored on-board speakers. We heard something about openings on the rear of the case that have been speculated to allow for an SD card reader or USB port, but the source for Kanteidan Blog says the opening is actually for rear-facing, wider-range speakers.

And as expected, the source also says the iPad 2 will have a front-facing Facetime camera, as well as a rear-facing camera capable of shooting video and high-definition photos.

Its not a ton of new information, and weve heard or expected to hear a lot of this stuff before. But the addition of higher-quality speakers may kill the idea that iPad 2 will support USB, something that was an exciting possibility for connectivity to various other devices. Seems that dream might be squashed. But for now you can use third party iPad Audio Speakers to enhance your audio output.

Stay Tuned for more !!
