Novak Djokovic - Wimbledon draw analysis

Ok lets have a look at Novak's draw

Round 1 Chardy - Not a bad player when he wants to play and certainly not an ideal 1st round opponent. Form is not great whilst Nole is full of confidence so it should not be too much to worry about.

Round 2 Anderson - This is a potential banana skin. Kevin hits big and has been playing pretty decent recently. Novak will need to be focused for this match.

Round 3 Baghdatis - Can't see this being anything other than straight forward. Marcos is not the player he was due to injury which is sad and i don't think he has the weapons that could cause Novak any problems.

Round 4 Llodra - This could be a great match if Michael is playing well. Will play a lot of S&V which could be tricky for Novak. He would have to try and dictate play and keep Michael away from the net.

Quarter Final Soderling - Again this could be a great match but will depend on Robin. He has shown he can mix it with the big boys but seems to have stagnated a little. He is due to have another great run but not sure grass is the surface to do it on unless they are playing fast.

Semi Final Federer - Just like in Paris it could be Roger that stands in Novak's way from making his first Wimbledon final. A repeat of their match in Paris (with a different winner) would not a bad thing from my point of view. I think it would be a tough ask for Novak to win but after all he has achieved this year I think he would give it a bloody good go.

Final Nadal - Now how would this pan out? Rafa going for the title defense, Novak for his first Wimbledon crown. Novak has the edge this year but Rafa knows all about winning at SW19. Would the 4 previous finals of 2011 have any baring on the result. Would nerves play a part? I think it would be an intriguing match and if Novak was to win would firmly cement his status as the best (current) player in the world.
